OIL CLOTH REMNANTS

Unlike regular oil cloth, Marimekko oil cloth is faced with a moisture repellent poly-vinyl finish over their cotton fabric. This makes the fabric more pliable to work with than traditional oil cloths. This kid friendly fabric is semi-porous so Marimekko recommends wiping up spills quickly with a damp cloth. RED FOOD WILL STAIN IF NOT CLEANED QUICKLY. If necessary use a mild non bleach detergent. You can wash it in a washing machine in warm water on the delicate cycle. Hang it up wet and pull it straight. Iron it on the cotton side while damp with a cool iron.
